Question Folder for Notes

Hi all,

I have a 256M SD card and prefer to store my Notes files on this card. I also have a 1G CF card on which I store MP3 files. Here is my problem. Whenever I start Notes, it takes forever to start because Notes has to scan the entire Axim...CF and SD card too...for notes/sound clip files. I try to tell Notes to go to a SD card directory...say, "SD Notes" but it never stays on that directory, it always looks for "All Folders" thus wasting my time with the file scan. I do not want it to look everywhere for compatable Notes files AND I do not want it to look for sound files at all. Isn't there a way to force Notes to look at a specific subdirectory where actual Notes files reside and look no further? Isn't there a way to tellNotes to NOT look for sound files?

Thanks all,
Dave W, daviator@hotmail.com

When you are Asynced, make sure your PC's Windows Explorer is set to Show Hidden Files, explore your Mobile Device thru ASync down to the SD (or CF) level.

In the root of each card you should see a file named ignore_my_docs, delete it snd make sure there is a My Documents folder on each card. You can have sub folders 1 level deep inside the My Documents folder. And your Axim should show any files on your cards.
