programs menu won't open

Ok kinda have a wierd problem. The programs window will not open. I click start > programs and nothing happens. Applications will open if they are on the start menu or i select them from file explorer. Also calendar, contacts, and tasks will not open and I get an error message saying that I am out of memory. Which I dont know how can be the case becuase i check settings > memory and there is 32 mb for programs and nothing is running. I have reset a bunch of times and it still has the same problems.
Any Suggestions?
thanx

Most of my X5 problems were solved with a hard reset. Its a pain but in your case if the problem still persists you can then call Dell for a replacement as its not a conflict with anything youve loaded.

Using an Explorer, go to Windows>Start Menu>Programs. If there are a number of *.lnk files listed there, then these will appear in the Programs menu screen. If there are no *.lnk files or if the whole programs folder is missing, then they will have to be re-created.
