ok, im a year late for wm2k3, but finally have some money for it.
it is my understanding that i can use pocket backup plus to make a backup that i will be able to restore after the upgrade and not have to reinstall all of my programs and stuff what stuff do i check in pocket backup plus??? any tips for a successful upgrade and restore??? | |||||

You CANNOT Restore a PPC2002 backup to a WM2003 Device
Sorry, but you will need to RE-install all programs after the upgrade. DATUM are a different story. Once you have upgraded, you can put any Data into the XXXX_My_Documents Folder and (re)-sync that to your upgraded Axim. | ||||

Yes, the upgrade process will prompt you to backup; this will save your outlook data for the WM 2003 installation. Anything else will have to be reinstalled. Of course, data on sd or cf cards will be unaffected (but no guarantees that programs on your memory cards will work after the upgrade).

is not so bad. the upgrade took about 30 minutes followed by a couple of hours re-installing programs and entering keycodes for programs. was worth it though. imho.
