just got wm2003. contacts question.

Hello.
I just got my WM2003 in the mail today and I want to do the upgrade. The only thing I am concerned about losing are my contacts and my calander. Do I have to sync these to outlook in order to get them back? I have outlook 2002 on my pc. Would a backup work? I would like to avoid syncing to outlook if possible but if not, oh well.

Thanks,
Ryan

You'll have to resync them with outlook. The contacts format has changed between 2002 and 2003.

James

But I don't think you can restore a 2002 backup onto a 2003 Axim.

(I could be wrong since I've never tried)

I haven't tried either, but I think you are right. Seems I've seen something about that somewhere.
