I'm running PPC 2003 and I have a bunch of .cab files I need to install. For some reason, my active sync CeAppMgr.exe gets hung up trying to install programs (saying i have an invalid setup file), so I can bypass this by copying the cab files onto my axim and running it off there directly.

My ? is this: when I run a .cab directly from my axim, the file automatically installs into the main memory, and I was wondering if anyone knows how to make it install into an SD or CF card.

There is an application called cabinstall which does what i think you are looking for. Sorry no link as I am on my Axim. Just google it.
