backwards synching

PDA is up to date with all my emails. Laptop is new with nothing in outlook.

How do I perform an activesync to move all the info from my PDA up to my laptop. As far as I can see if i sync them the laptop will overwrite the PDA with all outlook folders being made blank.

Thanks for your help guys.

Gordon

."devlosernU evaeL" ot kcab "ecalper syawlA" egnahc dna kcab og ,enod er'uoy nehW .potpal eht no pihsrentraP a putes dna cnySA neht "retupmoc siht no meti eht ecalper syawlA" > potkseD > seluR > snoitpO nepo potpal ruoy no cnySA nepO

I'm not that mean.........hit CTRL + A, right now:

Open ASync on your laptop open Options > Rules > Desktop > "Always replace the item on this computer" then ASync and setup a Partnership on the laptop. When you're done, go back and change "Always Replace" back to "Leave Unresolved".

Actually, I think it will do it without all that riga-ma-roll, since what ASync actually checks is the date an item was last accessed and compares those dates on the two devices. Since the laptop is empty, there is nothing to compare to so everything is synced FROM your Axim TO the laptop.

Odd, I did this recently when I changed my .pst files (the old was one 200mb and badly fragmented, outlook hated it). I just made a new .pst, left it blank, plugged in the Axim and it automatically recreated all my appointments and contacts on the PC.

Come to think of it, it only did appointments and contacts, not emails..maybe it treats them differently?
