Problems with Inbox Downloading Messages
Right now I'm running WM 2003, and I"m having an issue getting my inbox to download messages. I connect to the server fine and download headers, but when I mark them for download, or even tell the service to download the entire message, I still only see the header. The filesize reads 0/4k or 0/3k, depending ont he size of the message, so the message has content, and if I check it elsewhere I get the full message.
For some reason the palm isn't downloading the message body. Anyone have any ideas?

go to your inbox, tap tools, tap on the account you are using it will open up, then go to page 4/4 click options then next to go to the next page then you will have a choice to select either get message headers only or recieve full copy of the messages make sure it is set to full messages. Then click next and then finish. hope this helps if you haven't tried it already

I've tried that, and it still doesn't work. When I'm have the palm connected to my PC, it accesses my mail account, and downloads everything fine, but I have no clue on how much time it takes. My guess is that for some reason its trying to download ALL the files off my engineering account where my mail is, instead of just the mail.

e.e
I ended up getting it sorted out. I think it was a problem on the server end, because our server that I was connecting too was a general engineering server, so it was actually trying to download an index of all the files to the axim rather than just the mail. I figured this out when i left it connected to my PC overnight and I had the emails in my box, fully downloaded. So the end solution was to have my email forwarded to another email account i have on campus, and just use that as an inbox.

Life is not measured by how many breaths you take, but by how many times your breath is taken away.
