Avantgo & Aximsite

Hi all,

This might be a stupid question.. I'm trying to add Aximsite to my Avantgo as a subcription channel, so I can do my offline browsing. However I'm not able to sync the "Aximsite Mobile" page to load up. instead I get the "Full" Aximsite webpage. Is there a setting that I should be checking off on the Avantgo page?

When I surf WiFi and come to Aximsite, the Mobile style page automtically loads up. Just not working w/ Avantgo.

It's not such a stupid question. The problem is that when you download your AvantGo pages, it's the AvantGo server that fetches the pages from AximSite, so AximSite quite properly formats the pages for viewing on a PC. When you go to AximSite via WiFi, it detects that you're using a PPC and formats the pages accordingly.

One answer is to use a downloader like Sunnysoft's World Off-line. It allows you to download websites via WiFi or ActiveSync passthru for offline reading. AximSite should give you the Mobile pages. The problem is: whichever way you do it you'd need to download to a link depth of 6 or more to get all of the pages, so you'd probably need to store the pages on a card rather than in main memory.

avantgo should get setup to download the mobile version, since it is a mobile service.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't know of anyone using avantgo in a non-mobile form.

I love iSilo!!
But I'm still learning iSiloX, how would you set it up to to get just new posts every day

I know how to set link depth, don't follow offsite links, etc
just not how to get just new posts and do it automatically every day
