Cannot get DHCP address
I have an X5 w/TM1180 and it was working now it isn't. I know the 2 APs are working, cause the laptop works. I go from home to work and can connect to the AP, but won't get anything other than a 169.... address. When I connect w/cradle it works. I tried releasing and renewing w/ceipconfig. Doesn't help. Any other things I can try to get it to work? My co-workers works, another X5 w/MM2003. Thanks

Mike

Update. I have a Dlink AP900+(802.11b) and a AP2000(802.11g) and when I connect to the 900 everything is ok. With the 2000 I get a to connect to the AP but I can't use a static or DHCP, it won't let it go through. I am going to try taking the WEP off, but could this be a MM2003 problem or a TM1180 and AP2000 problem? Thanks

Mike

Is the AP2000 set for mixed mode? The TM card will only be able to connect to 802.11b networks and if the AP is set to G only, it won’t work.

Nope, the 11g only mode is disabled. This only happened after going to 2003 from 2002.
