Activesync Mobile Favourites problems

I've just started having problems synchronising my mobile favourites. I use my Axim with both my work & home PC, but for sime reason, activesync (Version 3.7.1 Build 3244) crashes on the home PC if I select favourites to be synchronised. It works fine on the work PC, and also on the home PC as long as I remove favourites from the options menu.

If I try to sync with favourites selected, when I connect activesync seems to behave, showing status for each item in turn, until it gets to favourites, then the activesync window just disappears, and starts the process again, as if it's just been connected. After a few loops of this, it crashes with the error message "WCESMgr.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x77f69d63" referenced memory at "0x0b00324a". The memory could not be "written"."

I discovered by trial and error that the problem was with favourites, but aren't really sure now how to find out what causes this.

Up to about a week ago, it sort of worked OK, althoguh I'd quite often get the message on either of the PCs asking if I wanted to replace or combine favourites, and also the activesync process seemed to lose favourites somehow, especially new ones I added on one of the PCs.

I have a new PC and have installed Activesync Version 3.7.1 Build 4034 and now I get the same problem - an sync error with favourites.

I still have access to Axim via Windows explorer

Any ideas

I ended up only syncing favourites on one of the PCs - couldn't find any other way around this.
