Anyone else have any other suggestions?
I can't find anywhere in the modem settings where you can choose internet or work. I can find it for when I edit my Wi-Fi Settings though.

It's the same place - Start, Settings, Connections (tab), Connections, Advanced (tab), Select Networks and change the "Programs that ..." choices from "My Work Network" to "My ISP" (sorry, I used "The Internet" above because I think that's how the choices were listed in PPC02).

Kool, I have never knew that! Let me see if that works, it still says "the page cannot be found" but i'm soft-reseting it right now.

Nope, I changed both to "my ISP" and it still says "the page cannot be found" whenever I click go when I try to go to ANY website. But I can log-on to MSN Messenger still.

I'm afraid I'm out of ideas. I know the "the page cannot be found" error has come up in the forums many times before. A search may bring up some other ideas.

Yea, but most of those are linked to Wi-Fi.

Well do you have any ideas, because now that I have told you that I can't access ANY webpages, maybe you can help me. ;)

It's been quite awhile since I've used dialup, so don't have much more to offer.

You might want to post your ISP. Maybe someone else is using them and can offer specific instructions.

I would also contact your ISP directly and ask them what's up after you explain what you've confirmed to date.

Good Luck ...

Well, I have solved it the hard way. I did a hard reset, without restoring it. But when I connected my Ax, I transferred my files, but I had to find a lot of my programs. Working great now! Damn, Windows! lol, thanks for all your help!

I suddenly started having this problem today as well... pinging ok, but unable to use Internet Explorer at all. I could even go onto Avantgo, but not IE -- every page, even my favorites ended up being a "Page Not Found." I don't get it! :-(

Hard Reset, that is all I can suggest, and don't bother backing it up and restoring it, it just brings back the problem, you have to start from scratch.

I have been looking also for a solution for the page not found problem. I only have this problem when visiting secure web pages. Does this also have to do with the same problem or do I have wrong settings??

Just to let you know, I feel your pain. I am having the same problem. Many web pages load fine, but some don't. I hadn't connected it with secure pages, but the ones I am having trouble with are. Sometime if I reload the page enough times, it will actually load properly. I wondered if it had to do with the slow connection I have via Verizon and my T720 cell phone.

This is the single most frusrating PPC issue out there. It happens with no rythme or reason. The "welcome" fix doesn't fix it for me. Sometimes it occurs several pages deep into a site, other times it doesn't. I hope SE helps it.
