Microsoft eMbedded Visual Basic Runtime

I've seen two posts on how to download this to my Pocket PC Axim X3i - however, there is no install file.
When I download it to my desktop, and open it with WinZip, there are only files, and no exec file.

It is a cab file, but where do yo put it on the Pocket PC?

Thanks so much for any advice,
Richard

I just put the cab file in my documents. Once it is in there click on it and it will install the program in the folders they are supposed to be in. The cab file is accually a installer.

Thanks for the hint. I tried it and it worked. Funny - on a PPC it's a cab file, download it to your desktop and it becomes a zip file.

Thanks again,
Richard

Well, a .cab file is not really a .zip file on your PC. It just happens that Winzip (and most zip extraction programs) recognize .cab files and allow you to extract the files from them.
