E-Mails automatically deleted from Inbox????
I hope I am not in the wrong forum, but with all the sub-fora available now, orientation has become quite difficult.
I am still using WinCE 2002, since I stick to the dogma "never touch a running system!" Normally, I have not problems with the system, except one, which makes me furious since I have my X5: Whenever I log on the POP3 mailserver and get new messages, most, sometimes all messages which have previously been in my Axim's Inbox directory, are automatically deleted! They vanish completely, there is no trace left, not even in the "deleted" subdirectory, which stores only those mails that were deliberatly deleted by myself. Does anyone have a similar problem, and how can it be resolved? To stay on topic: Is there any better 3rd market e-mail application, which allows different signatures, reading HTML-mails, and maybe spam-blocking? Something like Eudora for Pocket PC? Marcus

I've never used e-mail on my PPC, HOWEVER, as I work with Outlook clients and e-mail servers all day, I see this issue alot. Hopefully it will help you.
In my experience, this is caused by one of two things: 1. You have a rule set up to move mail to a specified folder or to delete it automagically. 2. You have the View options set to only show UN-READ e-mail. I hope this helps.
