WM2003 - Where to get copy?
Dell does not provide a copy of WM2003 with the purchase of their PPC. Can anyone advise where I can download a copy in case I need to reinstal the OS? Thanks.

If you bought a PPC with WM 2003, you won't have to worry about re-installing it. The OS is permanently stored in the devices ROM. This mean that even after you wipe your device (hard reset) the operating system will automatically re-install itself on the device.

Thanks for the assurance. Recently when I installed a picture password freeware, it corrupted the password icon in the Start/Settings/Personal menu that it disappeared completely. Now I am not able to reconfigure my password settings. Would appreciate any help in resolving this.

Did you try to remove the software?

Can you restore from backup?

You may need to hard reset to get things back to normal, if all else fails.
