Problems with Active Sync??
I have had so many problems with active sync and this is really getting to be a little rediculous. But in any case I was wondering if anyone had experience this problem:

I put the axim in its cradle and it immedaiatly starts active sync, then I get a message that says,

WCESMgr.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x77f580db".
The memory could not be "written".

Click OK to terminate the program

Then I have no choice but to click OK and then Active Sync closes. What in the world is going on?

Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so how did you fix it?

Thanks

Haven't had that one...yet, but my X5 Advanced has developed an irritating problem that when I update a contact or calender item it goes through the motions of saying X items aren't synched, syncronizes and than says synched, but when you check on the Axim it didn't update a thing!???! I have the AS options set to replace the items on my Axim with what's on my desktop. I synch with two different computers (home and work) which should be the same (maybe!!??!!). I'm getting a little frustrated with it. Anyone got any ideas for me to go check? Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

I'm getting the same error: "WCESMgr.exe - Application Error"

I unselected the sync options one by one until I found the problem. Apparently, the error happens when I try to sync the Files option.

Anybody know how to fix this problem? I'm disappointed that I can't use all the sync functionality. (I'm using Active Sync 3.71.)

I got so fed up with my Axim that I called customer support one day and they said. "blah blah blah just do a hard reset and that should solve all your problem".

I flipped out! I said, "forget it!"

So they sent me a referbished Axim and I havent encountered the problem since.

Mobile favourites are the cause
I have managed to get my pda to sync again. I've discovered that the problem seems to be with the mobile favourites. Got to this on your desktop favourites and move them to another favourites folder and clear out completely the mobile favourites folder.

Upon doing this is started behaving again. I never used the mobile favourites option anyway so it hasn't affected the way i use it.

Hope this helps you!
