How do you add icons to programs list.

Does anyone know how to add icons like VNC to the Programs list?

if you mean the Programs folder under the Start Menu, using File Explorer, go to Windows/Start menu. This folder shows what appears on the Start Menu itself. The Programs Menu appears as a folder under that. To add a shortcut, go to Settings/Menus. you should be able to find the program in the provided list. check the box and a shortcut will appear in the Start Menu (as well as the Start Menu folder).

Adding icons in programs list.

What I mean is that when you go to Start>Programs. VNC doesn't show up. I'm trying to add the Icon to that programs list. The icon doesn't show up in the menus list. Either I may have installed it wrong or it maybe the fact that I have it on my storage card.

VNC does work. I just don't want to have to explore all the way to my SD card to use it all the time.

Within File Explorer, find the .exe file for the program you want and hold down until the copy menu pops up. Press copy and then go to Windows/Start Menu/ Programs. Hold down the stylus in open space and select paste. If you want it in the drop down start menu itself then you'll have to choose the program in Start/settings/ menus.

I have been using Resco File Explorer for a while, and this would be easier with Resco. In the normal File Explorer, Lancie10 is exactly right, but instead of selecting "paste", select "paste as shortcut". You don't need to copy the executable file into a menu.

Thanks Lancie10 :)

another option that i have used is sync the ax with your pc, use windows explorer to find program you want a shortcut for, create it using your pc and drag and drop into programs folder on ax.
