Any Today Plug-In makes it s..l..o..w.....

Anything that has something to do with Today Screen makes today screen unbearably slow. Stuff like SPB Pocket +, or some of the battery monitors.. (batmemtime works fine), and also there were other today plug ins which slowed down, (i think one was the organizer replacement)

What could be the reason?

Above is on Axim X5 400Mhz.

Hi again..
My axim is still very slow. Any suggestions? I am also looking for a very good utility to check my AXIM for any errors on its ram/rom as I am thinking that's what is causing the major SlowDown! ??

Did you install your Today plugins in Main Memory or memory cards? It is usually recommended to install these into main memory. That might help.

I know.. Thanks gigi. I thought of that and even from the beginning I always installed them on Main Memory. (Thinking they always run on the bootup, and sometimes I may not have CF in place) I see all these people writing great things about today plug ins like the Today+ or other stuff, but I always thought, why even bother using them, since they make PPC so slow... then I realize, it must be the problem on mine..

So I am looking for a way to check internal memory and everything to see where is the problem .. Oh, and I recently did a hard reset & formatted everything, I still have the problem.

Do you know any good memory/error checker for ax? I got the 400Mhz X5
