force direction of active synch???

my outlook is acting up and all my appointments got deleted.
Is there a way I can force the direction outlook synchs with my pocket pc?
I would like the pocket pc to ignore all changes (and by god do not delete the appointments on the pocket pc!!!) and overwrite outlook (at least for the calender).
Please help! I urgently need to get this working!

Go into ActiveSync on your desktop PC, click on Tools, Options and then select the Rules tab. Use the drop down menu to select how you want things synced. For example, you can always choose to replace items on PPC or PC.

Hope this helps.
