If you installed PocketSkype only to find out that it doesn't work with Axims, and then tried to uninstall and got errors everytime your Axim came out of standby then I've got the fix for you!
First, download PHM PowerToys from here:
http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/PowerToys/
1) Install PHM PowerToys. After it's installed, do a soft reset to get the "Settings" applet to appear.
2) After the Ax restarts open Start/Settings/System, and then "Scheduled Tasks".
3) Scroll down until you see 3 PocketSkype entries, hold down your stylus on each one to bring up the context menu and choose "Delete". No more errors!
Apparently the PocketSkype installer puts those 3 entries in the scheduled tasks list to activate Skype when the PDA comes out of standby. But the installer neglects to take them out. Seems that the scheduled items are not stored in the registry - must be a config file somewhere.
