Putting Programs on my SD Card

I just purchased a 256MB SD card so I could load some programs. However, I think the stuff is still loading to my device itself. I downloaded MS Reader and when I launched it, I chose to put the program on my storage device and not in main memory. However, when I go to Add/Remove programs, there sits MS Reader. Why is it going into the main memory instead of on the SD card?

Also, I'm trying to get some .lit files onto the SD card so I could use the MS Reader but can't figure out how to accomplish that. Can somebody help?

Why do you think that if a program shows up in the Add/Remove Programs then it's in the main memory? That is not true. It will show up in the list wherever it is.

You can move your .lit files to the SD card using the File Explorer.

The reason I said that was because I didn't realize that it would still show up in the add/remove programs section. I'm a newbie and am trying to learn as quickly as I can; thats why I use the boards. Most of the time if I run into something I don't understand, I troll the boards to see if I can find my own answer but if I can't, then I post a question.........even if it seems simple. Thanks to all who have patience with us newbies
