Does WM2003SE support changing network passwords?
Is it possible to change/delete the stored network passwords in WM2003SE when mapping network shares? The inability to do this in WM2003 is a really annoying bug and I sure hope that M$ included a fix for this.

I hope someone who already received their X30 could clarify this while I am still waiting for my X30.

I don't think there's a way to map network drives in WM2003SE without a third party app like Resco Explorer. At least I don't know of any way.

But with Resco you can.

Yes, you can map network drives. In fileExplorer, click the "hand holding cylinder" icon and you will be prompted for the path.

Apart from actually mapping the network drives, I find the built-in management of the network passwords extremely unreliable and buggy. I tried mapping to multiple different computers/shares with different passwords and was unable to access both at the same time ... Resco would show the host but would not let me see any of the share names, presumably because the stored password did not match. (Net Use actually has a "delete network password" option, but it did not work for me on 2003.)

I did a before<->after registry comparison after doing yet another hard reset and based on that it seems a workaround to this problem is to simply delete the following registry entries wto get rid of any traces of stored network passwords:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\Credentials]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Comm\Redir\Connections]

It's not really a mapping that File Explorer creates is it? It's just browsing a share. No place to enter credentials like if you're doing a \\computer\c$ and it's not a persistent mapping.
