Pocket Outlook/Outlook 2003 private items
When I create a new task on my X5 I can change the sensitivity to Private. When it syncs, that task in my Outlook is marked as Private.
What exactly does this do What I want to do is have some tasks on the X5 that aren't sync'ed to outlook, so that people who have access to my calendar/tasks (using Exchange 2000) can't see them. Is that what this does? Richard

marking an appointment or task as Private, only has an effect if you have given others access rights to your Outlook folders on the server (which it sounds like you have). for instance, anyone who can see the appointments on you calendar, may see a private appointment, but none of the details (subject/notes). they will only see the block of time and the free/busy info. the subject will be marked as "private".
or the short answer to your question: Yes it does.
