Is outlook garbage, or is it just me?

HI,

i've been using outlook for a few days now after i got my x3 and i'm really annoyed with it.

it keeps asking me for a password, after i tell it to retain the password. I looked it up and found a registry fix for the problem, but it doesn't work. anyone encountered this problem?

thanks

ps. you're all a great help for axim newbs like me! keep up the great work, it isn't going unappreciated.

No, it's not you - Outlook is rubbish.

I've finally managed to get a working installation of it after 4 failed attempts.

I haven't had your specific problem but suggest you uninstall it and try reinstalling with as little as possible running on your PC.

Oh, and the uninstall doesn't work. After you've run the uninstall routine you'll need to trawl through the registry with Regedit removing all entries containing "Outlook" (but not "Outlook Express") if you're to stand any chance of a clean install

I find Outlook very helpful on my computer and PDA. I don't use it for e-mail, but the contacts, calendar, etc. are very helpful. Keeps things organized for me and works well to sync to my Axim.

I wonder can any one help me with an outlook problem....

I need to import my calendar from outllok 98 to outlook 2003.

It will accept the pst file but the appointments are all at the wrong times!

I don't want to have to transfer everything by hand!

any ideas?

Is it in fact possible to import from an older version?

thanks

J
