I don't think any body here would say Dell tech people are truly on the ball. I do admit that I got more useful information from the US tech support than the India support. What we all have to understand is that when you ask a tech question to most support units they use a search engine and pull up a possible match which is like a script in a play. This has been shown to work in 80% of the situations. But when they can't answer the question they refer to the hard-reset cure, which is not the answer to most problems.

I am guessing that the guy that my wife talked to at Dell was wrong but when she went to order 2003 (First Edition) the guy asked her if she realized that it was not second edition and she told him that if second edition was avaiable for my model we would rather get that. He claimed it would be available in a month or 2. By the way my unit is the X5 Basic.
