Pocket Outlook Problem!
Hi there,
I've got a problem with my POutlook, and I don't want to hard reset my X30 to reinstall everything. The problem is I have duplicate messages (like 800 or so) in my PDA's inbox, and I can't delete them! I caused them by changing the synch criteria (to sync more than 5 days worth)...I've tried disabling Inbox syncing, soft resetting my Axim, resyncing, etc. and nothing's worked so far. Anyone have any ideas? Oh, I've synched wirelessly and over USB, no difference. Thanks so much for any help! James

not positive if this will work, but it is worth a try...
In your Outlook inbox (on the PC), right click on the column headings (From, Subject, Received) and choose Field Chooser. add "modified" to your view. then sort your emails by the modified date. My guess is that all the duplicate messages came in at about the same time, so their modified date stamps should be all together. You can then select all the messages and delete them rather quickly. the next time you sync, they should all be deleted off the Axim. Hope this helps.

Chris,
Thanks much for the idea, but I prolly didn't describe my problem well enough - the duplicates are only on the PocketPC, not in my PC's Outlook Inbox. They're sorta like headers only, but they won't open, delete, or anything...frustrating little phantom messages... Any other thoughts would be appreciated! James
