I searched for this question but either I'm not searching under the correct strand or it just doesn't exist on Aximsite -gasp-...
I've heard that when you sync your axix to your outlook the colors don't appear on your pda (so so sad)... I have the colors on my computer but am planning on reformatting my hd...can i use my axim as a "complete" backup or will things that don't visibly transfer, not come back as well when I sync on the "new" hd if that's logical? Thanks to 'TeamAxim' in advance

If by 'colors' you mean the 'labels' in Outlook 2003, I don't think they get transferred to the Axim at all.
That's actually one of the things that really bugs me. I really wish Microsoft would hurry up and add some of the Outlook 2003 stuff to PocketPC. Actually there are a LOT of useful Outlook features missing that need to be added. "Flag for review", anyone? Bah. Microsoft just doesn't care, I think. --Ken

Hey Ken thanks a lot.
I doubted it but that was REALLY wishful thinking. It bugs me alot too. You think they would at least be diligent to make their OWN software cross-platform compatible. It almost seems boot-leg!!!

Here is a company that provides (for a fee) a great way to put icons in your calendar so that you will be able to clearly see what is on your schedule...
VosCorp I love this program. Try it out.

Radiate your Axim, only fair, it radiates you.

If you’re thinking of formatting and loading from scratch, just export your Outlook PST folder to a USB memory or network drive. Then when you have reinstalled Outlook you can simply import the data back exactly as it is currently. Trust me it’s the best way to do it.
