I'm running XP on my computer, when signed on under my name I can sync my X3i without any issues. When I'm under my wife's user name her X5 will not sync in the cradle or wifi. It will connect and start to sync then I get this error:

"There was no response from your mobile device while checking for out-of-date appointments."

I have tried to un check calander then I get the same message but for contacts. Un check that and the same for task, e-mail. I uninstalled and reinstalled activesync. (3.71) I searched this site and several others an have seen the problem but no one really has gotten a response to fix it. Someone said it may be cause by too many apps open, I have done a soft reset and same thing.

I did un check all of the boxes in activesync and I was able to load some maps from Routis to her SD card. I can explore her X5 while connected but, I'm not able to add or remove programs from the desktop AS.

I found this on another site but I can't find that file. And I don't have Resco Picture Viewer.

If you see a message "There was no response from your mobile device while checking for out-of-date appointments" and you have Resco Picture Viewer (the Axim has this in ROM), delete the file picViewSync.dat in the \Windows directory on your Pocket PC. Then you should be able to sync again.

Any idea's?
