OK guys and gals, I recently exported a registry key into a .reg file. When I go to import it, it either tells me that it's not a valid registry file, or doesn't give me an option to import. Here are the registry editors that I've tried to import with:
PHM RegEditor Resco Registry Editor Advanced Explorer I'm assuming that it's not like Windows where you activate the .reg file and it automatically imports it into the registry. Any thoughts?

What program did you use to export the key? I would guess that you should be able to use the same program to do the import. Did you export from PPC2002 and now trying to import into WM2003?

I've had trouble importing with PHM RegEditor
But I have used Resco's registry editor for exporting and importing many times with no problems...

I'm not sure exactly which app I exported it from, my gut says it was PHM. I think I'm going to stick with Resco when I need to export/import keys so the consistency is there. Thanks for your replies!
