Cool Software issues, Contacts, File Explorer, wifi

I'm having the following problems on my x3i running Win Mobil 2003 (I think). Any suggestions or advice is welcome. 1. My Contacts application will not open from the shortcut or from the Home screen. 2. Is there a free utility application out there better than the installed File Explorer? I'd like to be able to manage my files in a logical manner. 3. I'd also like to find a user guide or white paper on using wifi. Specifically how to get on university networks and manage the settings/ proxies.

1. Which contacts application are you using?

2. Popular alternatives to File Explorer include: Total Commander (freeware), Resco Explorer, and Advanced Explorer

3. Check out the wifi guide by Ikehiker here

Yes, start with Total Commander. I paid for the other 2 and hardly even use them, I'm a big Total Commander fan, and it's free!

Thank you both for the suggestions. I think my Contacts application problem was solved when I updated to ActivSynch 3.7.1. Might be worth knowing my experience: When I installed version 3.7 from the Dell Axim disk and then installed the 3.7.1 over it, nothing worked. Only after I deleted 3.7 and started from strach with the download of 3.7.1 did things work.
FYI, Total Commander website has this statement: "New (June 14): WARNING: Virus/Worm pretends to be new version of Total Commander" so I'm hesitant to download it. Comments?
