Outlook 2003 Sync Errors

When I sync to Outlook 2003, some, but not all, calendar entries entered on the PC show up on the Axim as an all day event the day after the meeting. All meetings entered on the ASIM show up properly on the PC. I see this problem in various fashions in other threads, but none seem to fix my problem.

I have:
-Axim X5 running Mobile 2003, using standard calendar
-XP Home,Office 2003, ActiveSync 3.7.1 - all with latest updates
-MSN account to which I also sync - with no problems

Done/Checked:
-made sure that proper time zone is set in both Outlook and Axim
-made sure that Axim time is set to HOME, not VISITING
-hard-booted the AXIM and established new link with Active Sync.

Further on the problem. I have found one combination that gives me the error. If I save a meeeting in Outlook by accident as an all day event, then correct it to a timed event, and the AXIM is not connected, I get the error on the AXIM when I sync. Somehow it may be picking up the original all day flag even though the meeting time has now been set. Shows the all day meeting on the next day.
