Yup, the tap&hold pop-up item 'save link as...' works quite well. No images though, just text and formatting are saved. And if the extension of the page is something like .stm or .php, tapping the file later will only bring an error message. Using a third-party explorer (TotalCommander, Resco...) to rename the extension to .htm or .html should repair this so as to have them open in Pocket IE.

The PIEPlus (I think) and MultiIE plugins for PIE offer saving currently open pages. MultiIE's saving is sometimes buggy though, saving only junk code.

Yes, and it works very well, more reliably than MultiIE which often says 'image not found on local cache' (a patently absurd error, considering it's always come just after loading new page while online). However, a saved image may or may not display in a saved page using ftxPBrowser, as the page encoding might have an absolute URL (full path to the image file on the host site) or may have a relative path involving sub-folders. In either case, the image will not display in the saved page, unless one edits the saved page to reflect the new location of the image file relative to the document. Putting everything in one folder and then using a text editor (whichever you like; my favourite is GigaPad) to 'find and replace' the image paths one at a time with correct paths will make saved pages with embedded images display correctly... if that's important to you.

Yes just tap and hold and you will receive a drop down menu with the save options. To save the video try pocketTV, as soon as, you click the video icon pocketTV will download it for you with the options to either save to the device or the SD. Very simple to use and eliminates alot of the hassle as it runs automaticaly.:approve:

Okay. Firstly, here's the page your link points to:
Quote:
Not Found

The requested URL /download/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
http://www.pockettv.com/index.html#download
That link works in pointing to the Download section of the main http://www.pockettv.com/ page. At that location one may choose to download from PocketGear or Handango. After installing, registration is required.

Anyway, on with the PIE video thing. I've used most versions of Pocket TV for PPC, since early 2001 I think, perhaps late in 2000. It's never added a pop-up 'Save Video As...' option to Pocket IE. What's that about? Are you just saying this for fun, to tease people? Or do you have a secret version of Pocket TV which interacts with PIE?
