Exchange Activesync Problems - Help

So, I'm trying to use Exchange Activesync and I have these problems. I always get one of two errors on the setup.

What in the world are these?

You'd think that I might be able to search MS and find a reference to an MS error code, but.....

Echo! echo! echo.

Anybody?

OK. Here's more info. My server does have a Security Certificate and I have installed it as a root certificate on my X30.

Hello?

Well... this doesn't answer your question, but I had issues getting my Axim to talk to Exchange. So I took the simple route and set it to sync mail & calendar with my desktop PC. Same result, but easier to setup.

That is as far as I have gotten, too.
I found alot of info on the microsoft site, type in 'exchange activesync' on their main page, and it will show you some info.
Unfortunately, (these days apparently) unless you are complaining about the ship date of your new axim, debating graphics accelerators, or asking the same freaking wi-fi question over and over, none of these supposed 'whiz-bang' Microsoft tecchies give a crap. Thanks for nothing, brainiacs!

Thanks for the reply!!
I do that now, what I am hoping for is to sync wireless while traveling, without having to break out the laptop.
Thanks, though!

I'll call my IT dept. tomorrow and see what I can dig up.
My problem is, well... too long to tell.
Global multi-BILLION dollar company ought to have SOMEONE in IT to help, you think?
Will post (hopefully) GREAT NEWS, unless someone other than our favorite noisy crow would put down the slide rule for a minute and help us out!

I've dealt with error code INTERNET_55 ...it means the digital certificate required to sync is not installed. If your Mobile Information Server or Exchange 2003 Server isn't using a digital certificate and HTTP over SSL, on your Windows Mobile device turn off the ActiveSync option 'This Server Uses an SSL Connection'. If a certificate *is* required by the server, you'll need to install it on your device.

INTERNET_2 is an Internet timout error, and there are probably multiple things that could cause it. If you're connecting in via a VPN, give it a while to go through its full authentication gyrations (maybe about 45 seconds) before trying to sync.
