Active Sync
I just upgraded to a new dell Latitude running XP Pro. I installed active sync 3.7.1 and Act Link to link my Axim X5 with windows mobile 2003 with Act 6.0. The problem is my axim won't sync any contacts, appointments, etc. The only thing that will sync is my files. I have tried several times even uninstalling and reinstalling. With no resolve. I have tried deleting my partnership and resyncing. That didn't work either.

Did you try the Options tab in the activesync window to verify that the items are selected?

yes, when I dock my axim it runs active sync and after about 5-8 minutes of running. I get an error message saying there was no response from my axim contacts.

I can't get my axim to sync files or anything now. I just get the error message saying to soft rest and try again, the use the active sync troubleshooter.

You do have Act link for Pocket PC installed right? its a separate program. Mine was working great now, it shows I am connected but the active sync will not stay on. It runs when I reboot the pc but then turns off. I have it set for continous?

Having trouble with active sync. I was playing around with the axim. I started the mobile link program. I did recieve a message stating that if i leave the mobile link active i would have trouble syning using active sync. But i never turned it on. But now i am still having trouble w/ active sync. Can't get the axim to sync no matter what.
Can someone help me w/ this problem. I've tried to search problem with something similar, but i've not come across anything. So whatever advice will be helpful.
