Is there a way on the Today Screen to disabel the "Today Items" ie, date, owner info, messaging, taksks, ect, not to show on the today screen. I have gone into settings -> Today -> Items, but it will not allow me to uncheck the boxes even when it tells me that the checked items will apear. I can't uncheck them. I tried a soft reset, but still nothing?

On Edit: It just allowed me to uncheck the date, but now I can't re-check the box???

It looks like somethings screwed. You should be able to check and uncheck any or all. Probably going to need a backup and hard reset if a soft reset does not fix it.

It must have just be real picky where you tap. I was super careful where I tapped and viola, there gone. Talk about sensitive!. Thanks for helping though.
