Please help me with Outlook...
Here is my issue. I hope I explain this correctly. Right now, I use Outlook on my laptop with my normal Outlook profile. I want to be able to use my x50 with that same profile. From what I can see, in order to perform a send and receive on the x50, I need to set up a new profile on the x50. I want to use the same Outlook profile that is on my laptop and x50 and just sync up at the end of the day so all the messages are on both machines, in the same (the present account). Does this make sense at all?
Thanks! | |||

If you want your laptop and your x50 to share the same Outlook data, just establish a partnership between the two and sync them. (The very first time you attempt to sync the two, a partnership will be created provided ActiveSync is already installed.) You only need to worry about profiles if you have different sets of Outlook data.

...you will also have to change the options in activesync to be able to keep more messages as by default, it will keep only the 20 or 30 days. the remaining is on your laptop only. You can also have messages attachements to be copied to your SD card to save memory space.
