Weird Outlook Sync problem
I work at the headquarters of a rather large international company as a senior engineer, last week one of the VP's happened to spot me playing around with my axim and asked me some questions, my advice solved his problem. Today I find I have been deemed unofficial Pocket PC advisor for all the big wigs. I guess this could be a good thing politically but I prefer doing a good job and keeping a low profile.

Anyway, today I ran into a problem i cant solve, when the user syncs with active sync outlook will appear to sync properly but the calendar appointments from the desktop dont show up on the pda. To make it weirder..the reminders for those appointments pop up like they are supposed to an hour before the time of the meeting...any suggestions?

Try this ... open active sync, tools - options. Make sure it is set to sync the calendar. Then in the same screen hit "settings", select "synchronize all appointments".

As for the appointments, are you sure the reminder times are set properly? Device time? Maybe multiple PIM programs are trying to set their own reminder times for the appointments and something weird happens?

Good luck Mr.PocketPC Advisor .
