Two Built-in Storage folders

Somehow I ened up with two built in storage folders on my Axim, one called "Built-in Storage", the other "Built-in Storage 2." Some folders exist in both, and some not. Is there some way to eliminate one and rename the other? I am, of course, reluctant to do so because the apps installed on the "2" folder won't likely run if I rename it. How did this happen, and what can I do about it?

never heard of that happening before. you are sure one is not a shortcut to the other? did you try a soft reset yet?

you could always copy everything in the second one to the original and then try to delete the second one.

of course there is always a hard reset to put things back to normal.

Oh God no, not another hard reset! I've been through 7 or 8 of those! I do, however have a backup, so maybe restoring that will save some time.

Well, have you at least tried the half hard reset trick? That is, do a hard reset but cancel it.

Just posting here to get the email update and get the info about this to help others later.

Frenchy, it's possible to subscribe to a thread without posting in it. I'm on mobile so I can't give you the specifics; let me know if you have troubles doing so.
