looks very good but I have one smal thing.. my bluetooth icon is on the left and my wifi icon is on the right...
Is it possible to get the bluetooth on the farest right on the system tray?
I think it needs to load faster than the wifi icon in order to get it on the right..
is there a solution?
GordonNL-
I rearrange my load order with MemMaid, so that my bottom tray icons load in the order I prefer. (The ones that load first load to the right of the others.)
anyone have the originals from the axim x50v w/ the updated ROM? i installed the new ones (from this thread) and BT worked great but wireless jaked me somehow - when i try and enable wireless it asks for the name of my card... and basically wifi won't activate. i backed up the original but it's corrupted somehow (figures).
help?
ps this is after using memmaid to stop them, copying them over from the zips to /windows, and soft reseting.
Anyone know if these icons support the x50v A03 ROM??

hmm....i didn't want to try them since the opening poster released newer versions for A02 and even the new 1.6 BT stack. I'm just curious if i use these again will they overwrite any of the BT or wifi fixes in A03. ;)

I second that, I don't want to accidentally overwrite newer versions. Could the original releaser please do it again for the A03 ROM? That would be outstanding, even if it's only purpose was to put our minds at ease that nothing is different between the versions of the new icons and the versions of the A03 update. Thanks.
I have just updated to A03 and dropped the BT and Wireless icons in and all works fine :)
OK. Now I believe you when you say that all works fine. But, I'm wondering if there has been a change that you haven't noticed yet? In particular, why were the icons labeled as for A02 when they were made? What was changed to make them appropriate for A02, versus A01? And, will there be a similar change to come for these? I'd love to get Jorlin's (or, DHPSS's) explanation if he's checking the thread at all.
Here is the lastest driver from HP for the HP Stereo Headphones, it is not like the first driver where it only works with iPaqs!! It works with the x50v!!!
The dates of the BTTrayCE.exe and WirelessIcon.exe files are the same as the ones from ROM update A03
The big plus with this driver is that the headphones now work (all buttons) in WMP

After a hard reset, I only install this patch from HP. BT manager does not show the High Quality Audio profile.
So it is necessay to perform the following steps in exact order:
1-Load the Broadcom 1.5 stack (CAB file) http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showt...9&page=1&pp=25
2-Copy the Broadcom 1.6 stack (unzip and copy all files to \Windows)
3-Install the HP patch
4-Optionally copy the new BTTrayCE.exe for A03 (found in the beginning of this thread) to \Windows for the 3D-Icon look
