Just installed the A04 Rom, the A03 icons seem to work with the A04 Rom.

Hi,

For the maker(s) of the wifi icon, how about making a version that is at a 90 degree angle so that it lines up and sits up the same way the BlueTooth version is? Actually, how does this look as a suggestion?

Please ignore the two ugly icons on the left and right side of it. Actually, anyone also make a replacement for the stinking "connected" icon?

Hi great icons :)
however since I have installed them I can no longer use PIE??, I dont know if its connected somehow, but everything was OK before I installed these icons.
I have now reinstalled a backup, still doesn't work! I have also done a hard reset and reinstalled from a different backup, and PIE still will not work.
I have now done a hard reset and will have to wait untill I get home tonight to reinstall everything from scratch.

When I say PIE will not work, I mean that PIE starts but does not show the 'home' screen or an address in the tool bar and then my Axim X50V freezes and I have to do a soft reset.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Everybody is having fun with the nice icon but I am having a problem.

After overwrite it it kept showing "Sorry! Bluetooth can no longer be used because the license is expired", don't why is that but I didn't backup the icon before overwrite it, stupid.

I am using A06 on my Axim X30, that might be the problem.

Can someone send me a oringinal BTTrayCE file to my email at yuyi429@hotmail.com?

Thanks

I've taken these icons and made a smaller couple of files that you can drop on your device and use instead of replacing the executables directly. This will work with any ROM release (since you'll still be using the version in ROM), and it saves a small bit of RAM.

Just drop the two files in the zip in the \Windows folder and soft-reset the device. If you've already replaced the executables, just rename the executables and delete them after a soft-reset to revert back to the ROM executables.

Note: These should only work with the English ROM image, other ROM images will require changing the filenames.

Any 3D icons for the 1.6.0b0600 version? Tried those in the first page and they are 1.5.0 version icons.

You can use the version I just posted. It'll work with any version of the executables.

Sweet! Thanks! I forgot to hack the new exe file, your mui files make it so I don't have to hack with every new release!

Thanks again

Here you go. Drop the contents of "ActiveSync Icon" in the attached zip file in the \Windows folder and soft-reset the device.

And delete the shortcut on your start menu (back it up somewhere!) and replace it with the contents of "New ActiveSync Shortcut.zip". Note, there's no good way that I know of to change the program's icon, so this won't change the icon for any switcher type applications you might have.
