I have a problem... the bluetooth one works and looks great! I just put it in the windows/startup folder... but the wireless one I can't put in the /WINDOWS folder, because it doesn't let me, and I can't see the original ICON to delete it, and even if I did see it, it wouldn't allow me to delete it... mmm...

...any ideas???

...ok... update... I put both of them in STARTUP and it works...

FANTASTIC MAN!!!! Such a small change made such a big improvement... (I was just thinking yesterday night that although the screen is great the icons look well shabby!!!)

...anyways... is there one for activesync and the switcher bar yet??

I just had the icon of Emulamer's X50Mix changed to 3-D (purple) too!

A) What's the power-button looking icon in your images, and

B) when are you gonna get around to making a new icon for the ActiveSync program? :)

Thanks :)

P.S., In true VGA mode, the 3D Wifi icon is a blurry line... Got any other ideas for an icon we might be able to use?

A) HandyMenu: http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=10093

B) I can not read the ActiveSync module in the ROM.
PS: No idea about true VGA. I am running in WM2003SE ;-)

Do you know that you can change HAndyMenu's icon as well
- Go to the options dialog (tap OPT in the first menu item).
- Go to the display tab.
- Turn "custom icon" ON, and select the bitmap that has your icon (16x16 for QVGA and 32x32 for VGA)

:)

Can you attach the program here (rename or zip)?. I deleted mine and the one in ROM (/Windows) would not let me read.

What do you use the Odysee program for? It is annoying... Dell put 1 copy of odClientCE.exe (2MB)in the /Windows directory and makes another copy after each soft reset to the /program files directory if the program is not present... 4 MB in your main memory... for something most of us do not need...

Tips: If you don't need it, just create a small text file, rename it to odClientCE.exe put in the /Programe Files, you'd save 2 MB in your main memory... :approve:

actually i deleted mine from program files folder as well. i only use it for my wifi station (i disabled ssid broadcasting so odyssey makes it easier to connect wifi hotspots with hidden ssids and switching to different ones)

This is great. I replaced my wifi icon without saving a copy of the old file I replaced - will the old one reappear if I ever deleted this new one and did a soft reset?

Thanks!

Great piece of work on this - but I was wondering if there was a reason you chose not to have the green bars on the new wifi icon to appear in a straight line - at the moment the first two bars seem to be lower?
