I've tried everything and can't get these icons installed. I even installed a task manager to manually stop the wirelessicon.exe program but my brand new (just got it today) x50v won't do it. If I remove the startup shortcut it just gets recreated on a reset. Any ideas would be great! Thanks!
EDIT: Nevermind as I got it to work. Can remember how I did it but it's good now. Thanks again and they look great! Only if we could change the ActiveSync icon!

I first renamed the existing exe and then was able to delete it. Also, I'm using Resco's file explorer.
okay so not knowing what i'm doing when using skins...and not being able to install them as I kept getting the application in use message...I synced with active sync and opened up the explorer and using the active syinc explorer I just cut and pasted the icons direct from my desktop to the windows folder on my pda...then did a soft reset and up poped the nice new icons...
When using these icons I get an error with the BT icon stating that the trial has expired. I've performed a hard reset several times but I still get the problem. Not on a soft reset but after I hit the power button and then later turn it on by pressing power again.

Any ideas?
Just to clarify: I take it you don't get that error when using the regular icons, correct?
I have a Axim x50v and I can't seem to copy the wirelessicon.exe file from the /Windows folder over to my Desktop PC. I make an ActiveSync connection and use File Explorer on my Desktop PC to drag the file over, it seems to be copied but I don't see it in File Explorer. If I try again, File Explorer says that the file is already there and do I want to overwrite it. I'm using Win/XP Pro. Anyone else have this problem? I also brought up a DOS window and did a DIR on the folder I'm working in and it shows no files. Any suggestions on how to copy these files over to my Desktop PC successfully?
