Customizing the default icons?
Wasn't sure if this should have gone in the skinning, but this applies more to the OS itself.
Okay my question is, you know all those icons that comes equipped with WM2003SE? Well They are alright looking, but I rather customize them to make them look alot better. Even if they are pixelated 16 bit ![]() Is there any way to do this? Even through a reg editor or whatnot, and would it be in a regular .ico format or something else? If anyone can help me please do! I want my Axim looking as sexy as it can on the inside as it does on the outside.

its the programs executable. (ie what the shortcut points to, or what you would click to run it)
Here's someone who did a couple already on the 50v http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=63570

I see that. It's great, but I don't know whch executable has the default folder icon in it. The one used for file explorer etc ... I just need to know which one that is and I can manage the rest.

Not sure if this will work "across" ASync, but you could copy a .dll to your PC Desktop (or wherever) and search it.
Icon Snatcher, a free 32-bit utility that can extract icon files from any .exe, .dll, or any other type of file that might contain embedded icons.

Thanks for your help guys but I don't know if your hearing my question :/
I need to know what exe or dll holds the folder icon used in Win2003SE. I know how to carry out the rest. But for the life of me, I have been searching for days and can't find the file ![]()

Well I think I figured a way how to copy files out of the ROM. I use SBP Pocket Plus' integrated Zip function, zip the file, move it to my storage card, edit it on my computer and then replce it in activesync.
![]() Thanks for the infodeamhan I'll see if that's it.edit: Turns out that only works on some files -_- Okay, maybe by using Resco, I can edit the file?
