Free Firewall - Airscanner - but troubles!

Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anyone uses the free firewall program with their Axim.

I notice troubles with the axim after using it. For instance, the WIFI indicator (Wlan Utility) disappears when using the firewall.

I am certain because I hard reset and loaded ONLY the firewall on. It then has troubles. Is this because the firewall is blocking the wlan utility?

Any tips appreciated.

I have been chasing down some WiFi problems with my x50v that now believe might be caused by the Airscanner Mobile Firewall.

Basically the device "hangs" and refuses to power off / on when the ASMF app is loaded. Also, the WLAN will not turn on many times and I have found no solution other than a "hard" reset.

At this point I am running w/o the ASMF installed to baseline the unit.

Anyone else having any similar problems ??

The firewall has surely caused many problems. I find myself soft resetting lots....I am using the X30H

I tried the Airscanner yesterday and I removed it right away. Had problems with using Agile Messenger and except IE you have to create seperate rules for each software that connects to the internet. I don't think it's a user friendly application. Maybe I didn't try it long enough but just didn't like it.
