How can I Synchronize with LOTUS NOTES 6
Very excited. I just got my Axim 50. There is just one problem. I cannot synchronize my pocketPC with Lotus notes version 6.0.3 which is the program that I use at work for my mail, contact and calendar. I installed Outlook 2002 and try to import the files from Lotus and then synch with Outlook but that didn't work either. I coudn't even import the files to outlook.
Does anyone know of a patch that I can use to allow synch with Lotus?
I was hoping to synch at home with Outlook 2002 and at work with Lotus Notes.

Did you try a search, 5th tab from left at the top of this page. I remember seeing several threads over the last few months on this. I'm pretty sure the info is already here.

CommonTime mNotes is the answer. I've been using it for 4+ years and it's bulletproof. I sync with Notes at work and with Outlook at home on an x50v. Works great. Their support has been very responsive with any issues I've ever had. www.commontime.com

I think you will have to look at Intellisync to be able to do what you want. www.intellisync.com

I have used both mNotes and EasySync Pro with my X5 running WM2003. I think mNotes has more options, but I had to change to EasySync Pro when my company started using shorthand e-mail addresses (like mine is Frank Clifton/Banner). mNotes would not convert the shorthand into the real addresses when syncing to the PDA, and so I couldn't e-mail from the PDA. EasySync Pro converts the shorthand into real addresses when syncing.
One warning - be careful if you try to filter the items you want to sync. I think it is both apps, but it is EasySync for sure: it thinks the best way to filter the items is to delete from the PDA any items you want filtered!

Thank you for the advice. I downloaded a evalution version of mNotes as suggested by Daunted and it works great. Since this is an evaluation version I had to call my IT department to get the software. They have different opinions and they were debating between this software and Pylon for Pocket PC. Since I'm not paying for the software but my company is, I will have to use whatever they decide. Thank you very much for the advice. Is always nice to know more about this than the IT department at my work.

Daunted -
Could you please tell me if mNotes works in addition to ActiveSync or instead of? (do you install both on one PC?)
Also, does mNotes sync to both Lotus Notes and Outlook, or do you have to use MS ActiveSync for Outlook?

I have a Axim 30 and have used Outlook at work even though my co-workers use Lotus Notes. You can download for free a Microsoft Outlook Connector for Domino. This makes Outlook use the Lotus Notes server as its mail server. Works for mail, calendar, etc. Give it a try. Just go to Microsoft's website and do a search on "Domino Connector".

mNotes works in addition to ActiveSync. I have both installed on my work PC. ActiveSync syncs my files on that PC, while mNotes syncs my calendar, company mail & address book. On my personal PC, I only use ActiveSync for everything I sync - mail, files, MSMoney, calendar, address book, favorites.
mNotes is an ActiveSync item for syncing to Lotus. I still sync to Outlook on my personal PC, but not my work pc.

I use CommonTime's mNotes for Lotus Notes calendaring and scheduling. It works great!
www.commontime.com
They have a 30 day eval and the full license retails for $75
My company has a deal with them because of bulk licenses and mine was only $45
Supports R5 and R6. I use it with R6.5.2.

Another mNotes user/fan here. No other program handles recurring meetings properly and true resourse scheduling (rooms, people) except mNotes.

I give Commontime mNotes the thumbs up. I used Pylon Pro with my Palm, it did alright, but mNotes is much more powerful. I like to be able to synch using a wireless connection in my office, through a VPN connection on the Road and of course in the cradle. I do have a problem trying to run it as a Service in Windows XP Pro SP2.

AND you can replicate free time for selected people. So if you're in a meeting and somebody's playing the "I'll have to check to see if I'm free - I'll get back to you" game, you just whip out the axim... and settle it right there! :approve:
