Question Duplicate System Notifications

I was just reading the article on this site by Gigi, called Taking Care of your Axim. (click here)

In the article, it says the following:

"Delete duplicate system notifications in WM2003. Every time a soft reset is performed on a device with WM2003, duplicate system notifications are created and bog down performance. Use an utility such as CheckNotifications to help you get rid of the duplicates. Alternatively, Notification Clear Fix will automatically clear out duplicate system notifications following every soft reset."

I did some research into this, and found it to be caused by a bug in the OS. Does WM2003 second edition have this bug as well? Logically, it should be fixed in the new release of an OS, but you never know with microsoft i guess... :bang:

anyone have any information for me? or should i just download the NCF application described by Gigi?

thanks for the input!
