Downloading CAB's Via PIE
Hi there,

Does anyone know of a way that I can download CAB's from PIE as when I click on a CAB it opens it on the screen instead of installing it like I want.

RGDS & TIA

An associations problem, maybe?
I've downloaded .cab files (ones that were supposed to be for a PocketPC, not a desktop) and they've installed just fine. It almost sounds like you somehow got .cab files associated with notepad or Pocket Word. If you have Resco's Explorer you can easily change the association.

Robert,

Please go to this page via PIE:

http://www.aspecto-software.com/Dweller/Dweller.htm

then please click on the Dweller_PPC.ARM.CAB file link and see if it installs correctly for you and does not display the file.
