Question personal certificates in PIE

I am a student at MIT and bought an x50v to check stuff in lab because we have wireless everywhere...

Long story short, MIT uses personal certificates to verify identity, and I cant get them to work in PIE (so i cant access data sheets and specs etc while in lab).

SO, is there any way to get personal certificates to work in PIE? The way it works on a computer, i go to a webpage, enter username and password info, and then a personal certificate is generated for the machine, which I then use to authenticate myself at all MIT sites....I see there is a 'certificates' option in the control panel, but I just cant get my personal certificate in there, in PIE i get a 'enable activeX' error at the MIT page that makes the cert and I dont know how to import it manually....any ideas?

I'm at MIT too and as far as I know you can't get personal certificates (check IS stock answers), but I'd love to be proven wrong.

i actually figured it out...I had to use the crtimprt found here:
http://www.jacco2.dds.nl/networking/crtimprt.html
to import it off of my computer....although a bit of a pain, it worked, i have it all backed up, and ill only have to do it annually when the cert expires
