cannot send gmail
I have searched and searched, but cannot seem to find the answers...I can receive gmail through outlook, but I cannot send messages. Any suggestions?

I actually did follow your tutorial to set up my account (great instructions!) earlier today. I can receive e-mail, but I still cannot send any messages. It's quite a bummer. Thanks for the welcome.

The screen just says sending and receiving...for a long time.

Also, I just noticed that on part 2/3 I don't have a box for "use separate settings" and I don't have a button on my screen for "outgoing settings" Maybe this is the problem. Help!

what ISP are you using? some ISPs will only allow you to send pop mail through their SMTP.

Did you change the setting in gmail to allow pop3 ?
