Reclaiming Memory
I have installed most programs in built-in storage or on SD and CF cards. But I noticed I was still running out of memory. This was true even when no programs were running, I had little RAM left. I used one of the functions of Battery Pack Pro called "power clean" which removes temp internet files, cookies, etc. I can rescue sometimes more than 4500kb of memory!
Deleting these files can be done manually of course.
I wonder if anyone else has some hints of controlling memory drain, keeping as much available as possible.

You can also use Tweaks2k2.net to move your .dll files, Avantgo, and internet files to storage card.

Thanks for the input, especially about MemMaid, it is on special at handango for $11.99. It seems it is worth that anyway! But with Tweaks going for $15.50, which is the best deal for the program?

Both are great programs, you might get more use out of MemMaid though. They only have a few characteristics that overlap.
By the way, you can get Tweaks2k2 directly from PC Councelors for $10.85, just follow the link :approve:

You can use Dinarsoft's MemMaid to change the location for both of these. :)

Does MemMaid remove the deleted
files left by Windows Mobile 2003 when a soft reset is done
on a Dell Axim X50v? Is using MemMaid "idiot" proof, does
one have to be really careful? Finally, does it
work with:
1. Spb PocketPlus
2. Resco Explorer 2003
Thanks,
Martin
