Worried Outlook 2003?

Hello, I want to use Outlook 2003 with Windows Mobile 2003. I just got my Axim x30 med, yesterday and can't seem to make it work with Outlook 03. Can anyone help?

Thanks!!
Tess

What are you trying to do? I guess I don't understand the question. Did you get outlook to install to your desktop? Are you trying to sync mail between your desktop outlook and the Axim? Or are you trying to set to get your mail via wi-fi?

Did you install active sync (3.8)? You need it to do the processing, Outlook doesn't know your PDA exists.

I sync my X30H with Outlook 2003 with no problems. Can you be more specific?
Did you install Microsoft ActiveSync?
If you installed it, how did you set the partnership?
Can't sync all the items or just a few of them?

Yes, I received active sync and have it all hooked up. However, I don't want it to sync with Outlook 02 and can't get it to find Outlook 03.

You should have uninstalled 2002 when you installed 2003. That would be the easy way to get it to work.

You MIGHT be able to get away with it if you make 2003 your default email client, but I don't know. (Tools -> Options -> Other -> Make Outlook the default program for email, news, and contacts.)

you shouldn't have outlook 2002 and outlook 2003 installed at the same time. are you sure you didn't overwrite outlook 2003 with 2002?
